I was recently searching for ideas for Mack's first birthday party. For those of you who know our family, you know Mack will be one in August. When I started this particular post, it was in April. It is not unusual for me to start planning so early. (LOL). There were so many cute ones that I decided to make a list of the ones we ended up not using. Stay tuned to see what we decided to go with for Mack!

I've made this list very user-friendly. Each theme has a link to the Zazzle invitation and an Amazon shoppable photo with all the featured products just one click away. Additionally, I've added a link to a matching outfit for party day! The Zazzle invitations can be completely customized before printing, and the shoppable photos are convenient to use. Every featured product is linked right under the picture on Amazon.

1. One-der The Sea

This theme is such a fun play on the "Under the Sea" theme. It just screams to have its own "One" version.

2. Lucky One

This is such a cute theme, especially if your little one has their birthday in March! The decorations are easy to source because of their holiday nature; however, it may be a bit more difficult out of season.

3. Rookie Of The Year

Michael and I are big baseball fans and so this was a big contender. We did a football-themed first birthday for MJ, so we almost went with a sports-themed one for Mack, but we ended up going with something else.

4. Fast One

There's so much you can do with this theme. I've seen red and blue cars for the main decorations with checkered flags sprinkled in. Adding cute "one" decorations really hammers the first birthday theme home.

5. Wild One

This one is such a cute way to incorporate animals. There are so many zoo and safari decorations to pick from, it was hard to narrow it down. But I think pulling everything together made it so cute.

6. Mickey Mouse

MJ has been really loving Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so Mack has seen his fair share of Mickey Mouse. This is a classic theme and although it works well for any age, I think it's especially cute for a first birthday.

7. Hole In One

This play on the golf term fits perfectly well. Michael is a huge golf fan so it was one his favorite contenders for Mack's birthday. Unfortunately, it did not win out.

8. First Down (Football Themed)

We did this theme for MJ's first birthday party, so we knew we weren't going to duplicate it. But it was so cute when we used it for his birthday, I had to put it on the list!

9. One Sweet Boy

There are a couple of different directions you can take this one. Candy-heavy or more of an ice cream twist seems to be the most popular. I really liked the milk and cookies spin. But no doubt, this theme provides the sweetest party around.

10. One Happy Camper

Such a cute theme for those who love the outdoors. It's perfectly rustic and can lean a bit more towards specific camp sites or even National Park Sites if you wanted to.

11. My First Rodeo

What a cute spin on "Not My First Rodeo". You can lean in hard on the cowboy theme on this. Couple a cute pair of cowboy boots and a cowboy hat and you've got the cutest little cowboy around.

12. One Lucky Duck

This one can lean hunting heavy or stay classic with a focus on ducks. You could do more of a yellow duck theme and incorporate a cute bath/water twist. Bonus, a rubber ducky as a party favor is the perfect addition to this theme!

Which one was your favorite?

We'd love to know if you ended up using one of these ideas for your little guy! Comment or send in pictures for us to see.

We're so excited to show you what we chose for Mack's birthday party. His birthday post will be coming soon!
