A fun night
Last Saturday, Michael and I threw the kids a fun Polar Express-themed movie night. MJ has loved Polar Express for a couple of years now! We decided that we'd do one of these movie nights once a month while the kids are still young and can appreciate the simple times with Mom and Dad. We made the food and decorated our small kitchen table with our spread.

What we served for Polar Express Themed Movie Night
I searched Pinterest and got a lot of great inspiration.
Appetizers
- Hero Boy's Ham and Cheese Platter. This was a quick little board with crackers, cheese, ham, and turkey.

Entrees
- Billy's Buffalo Wings. They were super easy to pop in the air fryer and we sauced them when they were crispy.
- Hobo Hash. We used diced, frozen potatoes and added cheese and bacon. We served them in an aluminum foil bowl for that authentic look.

Desserts
- Caribou Cookies. This was just a fun play on words. We made delicious chocolate chip cookies that the kids LOVED.

Drinks
- Hot Chocolate! This one was easy. We had to do hot chocolate with mini marshmallows.

We got a black tablecloth for our small table and used a starry night tablecloth for the backdrop! We got a kit that had the perfect steam engine for the backdrop. The balloon steam really added the perfect touch. The railroad crossing signs were the perfect size for our little table. We decided to go with neutral servingware so we could use it for subsequent movie nights!
